The hands of the watch need occasional replacement to update a face or to replace rusty needles.
The hands of the clock revolve in circles thanks to the mechanism of the same, either operated by battery or by springs that need rope. The hands of the clock need to be changed when they are rusting and do not rotate well due to the coverage of a face that is not watertight.
Instructions
1. Put a wall clock, shelf or cuckoo looking up on the table. Leave the box watches and large models in place.
2. Take the close of the coverage of one face of the watch in one hand while holding the body of the same with the other. Pull the zipper towards the front of the watch to release it with the watch fixing kit. The closure is usually to the right of the glass covering the face of the watch.
3. Swing the glass from the lock to the opposite side of the watch. The glass door will move on one or several hinges usually to the left of the face of the watch.
4. Put a needle-nose pliers on the nut in the center of the watch. Turn it counterclockwise to loosen it. Remove it and remove it.
5. Take the minute hand well closed to the center with your thumb and index finger on each side of the needle. Pull it gently with the watch repair kit and take it out of the watch.
6. Remove the hour hand in the same way as the previous one.
7. Hold the new needle the hours between your thumb and index finger while holding the end of the tip in the other hand. Put the new hour hand on the small pin in the center of the watch.
8. Put the minute hand on the face of the watch in the same way as the previous one.
9. Replace the nut in the center of the needles and adjust it in the direction of the needles with the watch adjustment kit.
10. Restore the correct time by turning the minute hand manually.
11. Close the glass door of the watch covering the face. An audible click will sound when the glass door closes and latches into place.
